Located approximately 60 miles north of Port-au-Prince in Haiti's Central Plateau, Saut d'Eau is one of the country's most significant pilgrimage sites. Each year from July 14–16, thousands of devotees travel to the sacred waterfalls to participate in ceremonies that blend Vodou and Catholic traditions.
The site is closely associated with the Miraculous Virgin of Saut d'Eau, also known as Little Saint Anne (Ti Sent Án), a spiritual figure revered for blessings related to love, protection, healing, and prosperity. Pilgrims gather to pray, make offerings, bathe beneath the falls, and seek spiritual renewal in the waters.
These photographs document moments from the annual pilgrimage, capturing the music, devotion, ritual, and communal gathering that have made Saut d'Eau a center of spiritual life in Haiti for generations.
